Rotavirus

Rotavirus is a contagious virus that commonly causes diarrhea in small children. Worldwide, it is the leading cause of diarrhoea-associated morbidity and mortality in children aged 5 years and younger1. Rotavirus can be easily passed around through contact with an infected person’s stool2. Hilleman Laboratories is developing a heat stable rotavirus vaccine technology. Pre-clinical development has been completed and the project is currently in Phase II clinical development. The technology has been out-licensed.
