Reports to : Senior Manager, Systems Infrastructure & Automation IT
Objectives
Design and implement the Automation Systems used in biologics manufacturing operations.
Support, manage and coordinate all Automation related matters & infrastructure.
Develop a strong relationship with stakeholders, understanding their requirements to provide solutions.
Responsibilities:
Participate in the design and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) of all relevant Automation Systems (BMS, EMS, Historian, DCS, MES, LIMS, and Process equipment etc).
First point of contact as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned Automation Systems related subjects in the supported business function.
Design and generate GMP documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures.
Configuration and programming experience, CMs, EMs, Unit Classes, Recipes, Controllers and Graphics.
Ensure a seamless data flow through all integration points with hierarchies of system connectivity within all computerized systems.
Function as a system admin for the Automation tasks related to manufacturing activities not limited to user manager, Backup Recovery, Time Sync, Audit Trail.
Lead the troubleshoot of Automation related issues in GMP operations.
Experience in sites for NC, CAPA, Root Cause Analysis and Automation Change Control Management.
Participate and actively support the digitalization initiatives involving system integration, validation methods and optimization of the manufacturing process.
Actively contribute to build and leverage on knowledge base within the Automation team.
Support computerised system validation when required.
2nd level support in IT infrastructure matters and in overseeing the service provider in the IT operational work and in the future cloud infrastructure deployment and maintenance.
To own and maintain all IT infrastructure and perform IT asset management inclusive of component inventory maintenance and associated documentation.
Manage outsourced cloud infrastructure deployment and operational work.
Education, Behavioral Competencies And Skills:
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Preferably work experience in Life Sciences/Pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of software project life cycle and experience in working with BMS, DCS and MES and ERP software will be an advantage.
Minimum 6 years of work experience of Automation Systems.
Experience leading and managing large Automation projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies.
Working experience with IT lab systems for R&D and GMP operations. (e.g. LIMS, OSI PI, MES, DCS, manufacturing warehouse data system).
Experience with design, development, coding and testing of DCS system.
Excellent working knowledge of computerized systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems.
Team player with proven performance records, creative thinking abilities, and excellent communication skills.
